The scope of work on this project was to remove 120,000 sq. ft. of the existing roof system to the steel deck, install V-Force VB direct to deck, mechanically fasten 2 layers of 3.5” polyiso, and fully adhere TPO. Flynn’s crew battled the weather for three seasons, including ferocious wind which in this area is always a challenge. They had to remove ice from the interior, while protecting the warehouse below from the danger of ice/debris falling through the grated floor. Additionally, the refrigeration units had to be shut down for four hours while this went on, and freezer temperatures were continually monitored by the Loblaw’s staff. Throughout all of their challenges, the crew pushed hard and came together to complete another successful project.
