I moved from London UK to Canada in June 2017 to join my Farther & younger brother with the help of Flynn Canada Ltd who helped me with the whole process of moving over. I started working for Flynn Production Roofing the following Month of July 2016 and I worked have there for just over 1 year now as a roofer. I am really happy with my new life in Canada now It has become my home and I am in currently in the process of saving towards my first home which would have been impossible for me back in the UK.
I am currently applying for status in Canada as a permanent resident and the HR team at Flynn have been a great help to me as they have a lot of experience of the entire process from start to finish. Who We Are Looking For
COMMERCIAL ROOFERS:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ commercial flat roofing experience (single ply and/or four ply, SBS Mod-bit, EPDM or TPO roofing systems)
- Ability to install, repair, or replace commercial roofing systems
- Valid Drivers License
ARCHITECTURAL CLADDERS
(METAL ROOFERS/FITTERS)
- Minimum four years’ commercial sheet metal/cladding/metal roofing experience
- Ability to install Architectural Sheet Metal applications, including Steel Roofing and Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall panels and Custom Zinc or Copper applications
- Valid Drivers License
GLAZIERS
(UNITIZED CURTAIN WALL INSTALLERS)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ of commercial glazing experience
- Ability to layout and install Unitized Curtain Wall
- Ability to install, fit, fabricate, and attach all architectural finishing scopes, structural glazing, skylight systems, glass guardrail systems and storefronts
- Valid Drivers License
SERVICE ROOFERS
- Installation and repair of roofing systems including: conventional 4 ply (built up roofing) systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt and gravel, modified Bitumen (Mod-bit) roofing.
- Investigation of roof leaks including interior assessment, chasing the leak on the roof and finding the source of water ingress
- Single ply roofing systems, using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics or asphalt compositions
