Architectural Sheet Metal Foreman (Production) – Denver, CO

Flynn Group of Companies is hiring an Architectural Sheet Metal Foreman for our Denver branch. Along with consistent work and a competitive starting wage, this full-time position also includes a comprehensive benefit package (Health, Dental and Disability).

What you can expect from the Role

As a member of our Metals team you will be responsible for;

  • Install Architectural Sheet Metal applications, including Steel Roofing and Wall finishes, Composite Aluminium Wall finishes, Composite Aluminium Wall panels and Custom Zinc or Copper applications;
  • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills;
  • Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment;
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes;
  • Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets;
  • Maneuver units into position for installation, and anchor the units;
  • Secure metal roof panels in place, and interlock and fasten grooved panel edges;
  • Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components to repair sheet metal items;
  • Provide training and support to more junior level workers.

  • Acting as the direct Supervisor to employees in the Service Department,
  • Provide training and support to more junior works, including;
    • Site specific training
    • Power tool training
    • Other training as necessary
  • Communicating effectively with your team, including;
    • Conducting toolbox/safety meetings at the beginning of each day
    • Completing performance evaluations
    • Address and resolve any issues or concerns
    • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
    • Provide a positive learning environment for employees to foster successful development

What Flynn expects from you


  • 5 years’ commercial cladding experience
  • Previous experience as a Foreman/woman
  • Completion of secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Intermediate English skills
